You can filter existing E-Mail messages later by applying a rule to an E-Mail folder.
Note: Depending on the E-Mail server, this function might not be available.
How to apply a rule to existing E-Mail messages:
Click the
icon in the menu bar. Click on .The Settings window opens.
Click on
in the left pane. Click on .Click on
next to the rule. Select the folder containing the E-Mail messages to which the rule should be applied.Note: Some actions cannot be executed if applying a rule to existing E-Mail messages.
Options:
You can also apply a rule to existing E-Mail messages while creating a new rule.
To do so, click on
when creating the new rule. Select the folder containing the email messages to which the rule should be applied.Related topics:
